I don't know why the plane is going from Chicago to Delaware, maybe it is to pick up Biden.
I woke up this morning to this pro-Obama video playing on MTV. It is a great and inspiring song by Big Boi and Mary J Blige. It touches on everything from high gas prices, unemployment, healthcare, and the Iraq war. Video and Lyrics below the fold
I was working at the Obama Office today and a man came in. He asked me the most basic question, and I couldn't anwser it. I mean, I am a dedicated Obama supporter, I have given money, and so much time to this campaign, I have learned most of the issues and have versed myself on the different smear campaigns so I would know how to address them.
But, I didn't know how to anwser the question,
"How do we know that he will be able to bring about the change that he wants? How do we know that he won't get in there and realize that bringing about real change is hard work, and can't get the rest of the Washington politicians to go along?"
I was working at an Obama field office in my city. We had just finished a voter registration drive, where we registered 14 new voters, identified four potential volunteers and many other supporters who were going to stop in the office and get yard signs. I thought that was pretty good since we were only out for 2 hours and we were in a republican area with good turnout usually. We were all sitting around eating lunch, planning the Birthday Party we are having for Barack, when this wierdo walked in.
Four years ago, when he appeared on the stage, he told us. The skinny black guy from Chicago who wowed the nation that night, told us that he believed in compromise. He told us that he believed in bi-partisanship. He was running for the senate at the time but we knew that he had a record of compromise in the Illinois State Senate. He had two books out that told you who he was. He gave speeches on every important topic from the time he got into the senate until now that told you. He also told you why he does what he does.

No, not Hillary. Harriet Christian. Even though I am an Obama supporter, I am embarrassed for Hillary Supporters that she is going on TV, representing them. I am a woman, a feminist, and a Democrat I am embarrassed that she considers herself one of us. More than that, I am embarrassed that it took, Neil freaking Cavuto, to try and talk some sense into her, and she still didn't get it.

Yesterday, Grandpa McSame said that he wanted to school Obama and teach him a thing or two about Foreign policy. It seems to me that in order to understand foreign policy you need to understand history. It seems that McSame needs a course in History 101.
